A million me

I know the change; I can see it;

And that life is a journey, I feel it.

Each day that I learn new things,

Yesterday’s poems become timeworn easily.

As the memories traverse in the back of my head,

I sometimes think that she and I have barely met.

I perceive she resembles my eccentricity,

After a small self-war, I trust that I am her,

Yet also amazed, on what a different path life has brought me.

Change is beautiful;

By wisdom, it can even be stated a necessity.

Some people dispute over the followed unevenness,

They like uniformity.

I, however would choose change,

To see the million ways in which I could still be me.
