A Memory of Beauty

As we travelled by the roads so fast
On a winding road that could forever last
We were enthralled by a stretch of green
Horses grazing by the countryside all serene
Their manes were flowing in the gentle breeze
Chomping on the lush grass with ease
It felt like a break from reality
Nature and life, an aesthetic duality
The young foals called out to their mother
A splendid mare, like none other
Her neighs beckoned them to safety
Away from the prying eyes of humanity
So i waited and soaked in the view
Enjoying this moment, just me and you
A moment of peace, amid the race of life
A memory of beauty in the countryside
