A Memorable Trip

A trip that connected spirituality with history,

It made us explore another religion and struggles of victory.

Jallianwala Bagh showed us the sacrifice of martyrs,

It amplified our feeling of respect for the soldiers.

The beauty of Golden Temple was really mesmerizing,

And the darshan, langar, seva and ardaas were peace giving.

Show of soldiers at Wagha Border was peaches and cream,

Watching India-Pakistan border fulfilling of the dream.

I can imagine Gurudwara of Kartarpur Corridor to be divine,

As it is the symbol for both the countries, forever shall it shine.

For “Preet” the fog was troublesome but beautiful,

And the wind was chilly and cool.
