To laugh or to weep,
What must I do,
To grasp everything,
And yet know nothing of you?
I watch you take flight,
Like butterflies within me,
You wield a subtle power,
Over my fragmented soul, I believe.
A tormenting presence,
You are both a curse and a blessing,
A light in the darkness,
Yet a shadow over my being.
I stand on the precipice,
Yearning for your touch,
Haunted by your absence,
In a world that is too much.
To love you is to suffer,
To lose you is despair,
I am a soul in torment,
Caught in a never-ending snare.
Your essence, an enigma,
Both salvation and demise,
In this cruel dance of existence,
Where truth and illusion lie.
