He became the breath I needed to survive,

Thinking every day about him, my spirit remained alive.

Among countless faces eager to stay by my side,

My heart said that only he could be my soul’s light.

But it was not easy, as I struggled to speak,

Afraid my heart's truth might render me weak.

I feared, my words could become a cause of his pain,

So I stayed silent, watching my love go in vain.

I buried my feelings in shadows of doubt,

Hiding from myself, shutting the world out.

Wanted to share my emotions, all in the air,

But unvoiced emotions lingered there.

Then patience and hope became my guides,

They whispered softly, “Let destiny decide.

It's your dream, it's your love,

Let this story be written from its core.”
