A Letter to God

Sealed are the lips, eyes drained,

Do you hear the soul's cry still?

And what after that?

Does it tear and tear through you too?

The pot as perfect as the potter's clay,

Are the broken lines from within visible to you too?

Trying hard to hold it all together, shining a smile,

Does that shine your potter's wheel and hurt your glance too?

Thoughts gazillion, fearing its existence,

Do you care to fight those fears for me please?

Love lost, lost faith, lost excitation energy,

Do you still hold your testament of creator true?

Void deeper and deeper,

Days are gone, so is a choice to life,

I question thee, why create this game at all,

Where no one loses, no one wins, but your giant wand of whim!

You test and hurt,

Then watch as a silent preacher,

Why test to the most vulnerable state?

Where the beginning is just a raw deal!

Lost in words, lost in translation,

Do the feelings get lost too, until it reaches you?

The muscles ache looking through the sky,

Do the hopes make through the miles to your pedestal too?

Dark, lonely, depressed and lonely in you too!

Did you extend your hands through your boundaries just once?

As I feel numb and nothing,

Did you try to kiss your lost treasures too?

No fancy words, no fancy phrases,

Did you get the gist still?

No fancy dreams, no fancy expectations,

Did you get the reason why?

I know you sometimes, sometimes feel like firsts,

Were you still there, watching the reason of my sometimes?

Tired of all the judgements low and high,

Do you want to amend your flower too?

Lost, what was once called 'I',

Did you bless through the journey still?

Staring at nothing with these questions,

Do you care to find the lost in nothing too?

The wound once cut, still lives a scar,

Do you care to heal through your embrace yet?

Questions and expectations, can go on till you puppeteers,

Do you care to live up to your puppets too?
