A Heathen

Lost at the age of seven,

In the most difficult way, I learned my lesson,

That; to live, my emotions should be lessened.

Slept under the old caverns,

Searched the treasure-filled deep dungeons,

Learned from the ancient covens,

The beauty of life and its essence,

Lies in a place called your home, your haven.

No one to praise me nor my existence,

All they can do is curse at my undeniable succession,

And never reject my iridescence honed to perfection.

Longer than time itself have I suffered in my imagination,

Just to realize my fate and my eternal profession,

Therefore, I battle through the heavens,

To know the purpose of my presence,

Lost and weak but still strengthened,

Consumed by curiosity,

Lost in tyranny,

I’m just a homeless Heathen.
