A Gullet's Lump

Letters serve me disrelish

It’s the signing that stings

My mind is exacting

Fingers are pipes

For sincerity that dissipates

Like smoke in a well

Conscience sticks the tar.

Clanging destitute drawbridge chains

I am an escarpment

Stoic to boats that dare knock

Spread as plain awaiting the sickle

A winged anopheles

Set teeth tight and touching.
