A Glimpse of Inevitable Fate

When I laid my eyes upon

The dark cloaked shadow

With innocence and naivete

An early fated meet

Had compelled me to see

How cruel the price was

For just existing

A friend, he would have been

If only he hadn't ripped my soul

before that he had tore my heart to shreds

Even before that had dimmed light of my life

Cannot forgive him

I cannot

Not anymore

I was warned

This darkness couldn't be escaped

It haunts and hunts for a lifetime

Until your last breath

But I do yearn for you

like I have never yearned before

Swallow me in your darkness

Take me to your land of unfortunate souls

At last I would be construed

Hide me beneath your cloak

Where all the sinners can be found

Not as apolegetic as me though

Nothing more can be said and done

It is the peace I desire

Welcome me with euphorious choir

Murk surrounds my soul

Soon the haze clears

I see crewmen aligned

Ready to serve

The master sits high up a hill

At wanng slope

Pages are scattered among ruins of creatures

Tales written of and for derelicts

How did I let myself fall so far into this abyss

Gasping for breath I run barefeet

Knees scraped

Blood dripping from an arm

I chase the warmth light provides

Climb up piles of wastage

That once lived just to live

And soon I am surrounded by arms of people I love and the people who love me
