A Girl Is Always Born To Be a Flower

The bright blooming flower ,

Was shining like the most luminous star.

Its petals glowed in the daylight ,

From which no one could take away its sight,

And its mesmerising odour whispered its beauty at the starry night.

Just alike , a girl

She had a fairytale like pretty face,

With the description of beauty & smile in her preface .

She spread happiness as a jar with fluid’s presence

And this made the environment enticising through her essence.

But the joy of flower was not the joy for all,

Therefore it was made to fall.

When boy bent across the flower & plucked it in an instant,

Oh! That pain of coveted objects gave him exclusive enjoyment.

With no inkling of agony for his acquisition ,

He brought the flower to his nose & sniffed at its intoxication.

He clutched it stronger & held it tighter

And then blew its petals higher .

Now the flower was no longer the beauty of the garden's edge .

But the pride of ledge,

And would soon be swept by wind in front of the garden's hedge.

One day when the ineffable pretty face ,

Passed through the nocturnal race ,

From the deserted turning of shadowy phase ,

There the passerby stopped in his tread ,

And from the fabric of dignity & respect he pulled out the girl’s major thread .

The girl couldn’t look up,

Her fist had tears & sadness all clenched together,

Her face cried & screamed from the pink part ,

And this hapless act left her with a delicate & broken heart.

The man, the male

Has been accorded extra brawn ,

Not to take the advantage of solitary dawn,

But to save all from the unsafe privy of selfish lawns.

As the thorny fences should be built along the flowers

Likely a veil should not hide a girl & she must not be thrown from her safe tower.

Dear mean men ,

Pythagoras theorems & quadratic equations are useless,

Hours spent exercising at the gym are senseless.

Unless & untill your minds & muscles acquire human sensibility,

And you stop this horrific brutality.

How can you think of such inhumane wrecking?

As you were also born as flowers blooming ,

Just when the life of a women was in peril to give a life to you,

And then you ruin the life of a woman just for conflagration of your lustful pervertness.

The myopic eyes of such ignoble men consider women just for reaching selfish horizons with thud,

Which is the cause for flowers & girls to be nipped in the bud.

But now

To all the women & girls

It's high time for such men to consider this insatiable quest an ode to masculinity .

It's time to think everyone as equal & stop these male chauvinist,

It's time for us to stop our faiths being crushed on the roads of cement,

It's time to make them pity their heartless act & lament.

It's time for us to switch on the revolutionary current,

It's time for the flowers to leave their thorny cage,

It's time for a fiery rage .

It's time for the flower-like girls to be saved, its time for such ferocious men to be educated.

So let's change the mantra & switch to beti bachao & beta padhao!
