nightmare

you underwater

me on the edge

finding what i could alter

I'll live

as though I'm dead

knowing I failed

finding love that matters

so I cut my nails too close to skin

I touch the fire I burn my fins

I fabricate stories of how you die.

It is a fool's form of torture.
