A Fluttering Soul, Now Shattered

Empty? Is that how I feel?

Having a thousand thoughts in my head

A polygon with many edges looks

Like a circle, doesn’t it?

Yet, none of the hypothesis I possess

Has made me weep

It’s acknowledging the fact that

I have been annihilated

Broken;

Everything is a temporary comfort,

An illusion, as one might say

As agonizing it is, Neils Bohr once said

Everything we call real is made of things

That can’t be regarded as real

Quantum mechanics or not

That line holds true

Once a fluttering soul brimming with joy,

Believing; had faith

Now shattered

Once the child, now broken

As maturity is seeping in

Obliterating of what is left

For the perspective changes

When placed at a different angle
