A Day Of Us

By Pratham Prateek

Love,

In it's thousand millions colours,

When it no longer mesmerized me..

Love,

When I was starting to drift apart,

Came in you just one anonymous day.

Strangers, were we passing by,

I, as always totally blank to world around.

Kept walking by, engaged in my musings,

Then a sudden gaze startled me to the ground

Our eyes,

Met for a breath;

And those breath met themselves

A stranger's gaze wasn't there in us...

But I walked away with my melody.

Nothing is a coincidence in Love and World,

Nothing is a mistake in fate witheld...

Those who feel see the magic in it,

Those who don't; just a moment of heat

I admire you from far across the oceans,

May be you do it too...

I missed you without knowing,

In my story..

The story was mine, yours and the evening sun...
