A Dance of Light and Dark: Echoes of The Sky

The night’s embrace,

I watch it fade away.

I see the light.

The horizon of the new sky.

I watch, as the rays,

Lighten my face in their ways.

The warmth, the breeze,

All too sweet.

The star that crowns the night,

Your laughter- brighter than the glow in my sight.

Like the moon that completes the night sky,

The song of the day, a soft lullaby.

The sun rises, oh-so-slowly,

A beacon of hope shining through the sky night.

Ah, the skies ever so majestic over the dawn,

The dawn after a night, a darkness ever so long.

The once blank canvas,

Filled with strokes of paint afterwards.

The moon rises, ever so high,

The true beauty in my eye.

Its subtle glow, shining quietly in the dark,

Slightly igniting a spark.

As the silver beams dance on the land so quietly asleep,

A peaceful night, so long- but so sweet.

For the moon never stops shining,

In the night, so soft and strange.

It finds its joy, and glows even more brightly,

As the sun, with its light, makes the moon glow wholly.

The night is different now,

A softer glow, a new face.

Maybe it found its joy,

Somewhere deep in the darkened sky.
