A Chanced Love

Sep 26, 2022

A shy girl meets a boy

Like a reverie, like a breeze,

He eases into her life

Long conversations and laughter

The little things, a side glance

Loving you was easy, like breathing.

To have and to hold

I now have you, my love

From dusk till dawn, love me slow,

Love me deep.

Till our hairs turn grey

Hold my hand, my love.
