A Bird's Nest

There is a bird’s nest out of my window

Which has seen some weather

A bird used to live there

But now there is nothing more than feathers

I wonder when the bird will return or it has grown out of it for his own good

What else can he do if the house was a never ending sea even if he did all he could

A longing for a home

A place that he calls his

He is being running for so long

He forgot what he is running from

The haunted structure or people itself

People who in better situation would have been different instead

The curse is he understands

He is an empath

He could see why things are the way they are

Now he is stuck in a loop

Of this generational coop

Form a distance it all seems clear and he knows what goes now

But every time he returns he is a little boy calling for his mom

Preyed by some, emotionally exhausted

Once again the little kid in him is betrayed when love is all he ever wanted

Wonder why he never comes back anymore

But what he craves for was never behind that door
