As she graciously glides , as she seamlessly soars,

She couldn’t be more unfazed by the lion’s quaking roar ,

Fearlessly free in the cool breeze,

Her wanderlust soaked up by he parched trees.

But she has a duty to fulfill,

For only then can she use her wits and skills

But she still wonders about what could be

Upon the fabled lands of the savage sea .

But for now she can only stare at the sapphire stars,

Which for once don’t seem that far .

Alas! Who else will the lonely bird befriend,

For if it is the world she has to mend,

She must keep flying till the End.
