"A Bad Dream"

A trippy dream with abundance of rage;

whelmed with blood & sweat,

feels like I'm stuck in a cage;

I lower down my fear and wish to be rescued in a whisk;

for I yearn to feel secure and a homely kiss;

then I am awake and in the awe of fright;

deprived of warmth - I close my eyes;

then I feel warmth syncing in my heart;

only to open my eyes and witness a haunting scar;

this scar reminds me of deadly nights;

the phantom of my dream is a miser of life;

but then I close my eyes and realise;

this dream is utopian;

something I falsely ignite;

then I calm myself and wave to peace;

though all I receive is a flashback of my dream;

I burn in anger and see the shades of maroon;

the fear of losing sanity comes disguised as a boon;

then I burn these thoughts to unleash them in layers;

to attain peace and solace as a pair;

I bring my thoughts to closure and it brings me ease;

then I bare my thoughts and put myself back to sleep.
