Time

By Moumita Boral (Mits)

Do we really have that much time?

There is war, there is nuclear threat.

Somewhere cloudbursts, somewhere droughts;

Or sometimes religious and racist attacks & prejudices, enters the picture somewhere.

The leaders and the crony capitalists are leading the way;

Making profits and shamelessly showcasing their wealth to get away.

Humanity is perishing; Empathy is missing somewhere.

Digital media and social media fame is only disorientating minds everywhere.

What are we doing? Where are we heading?

God created man out of his own image.

But now somewhere he is lamenting seeing his own creation.

If apocalypse and doomsday are a reality;

Then how much ‘Time’ we humans have anyway?
