Them

Everything you need is on the ground,

But I crave for the stars.

Anyway can’t listen to those

Who try peace through wars.

Standards so high

Still want simplicity to be the reason of win,

Want me to be pure and kind

In this world of fraud and sin?

Staying still silent watching their moves

Stopping my breath so that they can’t hear me,

Being as stealth as a tiger with my own groove

But at the other end, they are totally carefree.

Wondering who am I talking about?

My dear it’s the society.

Ready to suppress and bring me down

No matter how rich and developed and mighty.
