Rush

A beautiful day it was,

The day we met each other.

Emotions overpowered, neglecting all flaws,

A Rush drove us closer.

A burning desire to be one,

Channelized energy to liberate,

Finding expression in every action,

Intensifying the Rush that continuously mutates.

Fate seemed to be in favour,

Strengthening the bond,

Or maybe we were too fond,

Of being each other’s romantic saviour.

A worthy experience it was,

Of knowing each other.

Logic now drives me back to reality,

Wherein oneness and love demand patience and integrity.
