Rain

By Ramish Rahim Shah

In whispers soft, the heavens sigh,

A silver mist in twilight sky,

Each droplet weaves a tender tale,

As earth and sky in love unveil.

The patter on the window pane,

A lullaby of sweet refrain,

It speaks of dreams, of worlds unseen,

Of forests lush and meadows green.

Beneath the gray, the colors gleam,

Awakening the quiet stream,

Where every leaf and petal’s grace,

Reflects the rain’s embrace.

A symphony in nature’s hand,

Conducting life throughout the land,

And in the calm, where shadows lie,

The rain becomes a gentle cry.

So let it fall, this sacred song,

Reviving hearts where they belong,

For in each drop, a promise clear,

The rain is love, the rain is here.
