MARS

Below the stars,
On the top of a house,
A kid lies with a gaze, finding which is even Mars.
He looks up to the skies and bears all the moons,
Worships the science like he doesn't belong here.
He wants to reach at least one of the dwarfs,
He wished he touched the tail of the shooting stars.
He never heard a tale that won't have any flying,
He even suffered from the hope of eternal leaving.
He never got to leave, as there is love and there is lust;
She convinced him that it's for both of their best.
Another dream slowly biting the dust,
As childhood is killed by the pest,
The adult cried every time he slept.
The cry woke ‘her’ up,
He would never even shut up,
That is a lot for her to cope,
So she left him in good hope.
Looking at the son's ghastly sight,
The stars all thought, "Fine, all right,"
They sprinkled him some power of flight,
To reach them like it is his right.
He flew as soon as he knew,
Like this is something which is due,
But
he hovered above the movie queue,
To catch that 'her' in his view.
Floating below the stars,
Yet above all the cars,
An adult stays with a down gaze,
Forgetting all about the Mars.
