Love

By Pratham Pagariya

To be said that I'm smitten by you,

Would be an understatement to the love i hold,

Those eyes are just too pretty to be true,

Or rather i say, they just make me fold.

That gleeful smile, that hearty laugh, they just makes my heart leap,

Even the sunlight shies away when you step into it.

God, even alcoholics wouldn't be as addicted as I am to you.

You make me happy, give me joy, but in the end I'm never gonna get be with you.
