LOST

Penning down isn’t easy

When all of your shooting stars

Have lost its glow

And the star dust embracing you

Isn’t shiny anymore.

When you become the burial ground

Of thousands of hopes, that once

Lightened your eyes and soul.

Even the shut doors can’t

Hear your screams,

What you have inside you is

Just stillness without answers.

The moon doesn’t excite you

Anymore, instead reels a thousand

Memories of lost happiness

And keeps you frozen.

The shadows moving in dim light

You stare at, matches your energy

May be a relief that you hope

Is still far away, showing, hoping again

And getting into the loop

Makes things worse than ever.

The tear and the smile merge

At one point, when you think of

All that you went through

And the remnants still dwelling in you

Which keeps you scribbling once more.
