Hymn
By Ritu Borah
From the graveyard shifts in memory ,
Wherefore beauty accustom to the dim .
Once upon shines , some loom storey ,
Still hides strange to feel , or pours whim ,
Till time announces the other fond imagery -
Whose heights , and steps broader it seem ,
Upon futile slowly shed , letting wild enquiry ,
Or with passion the heart past it’s swim ,
And sunk in wiser shorts - their tender solitary ,
In olden invite , but quieter bluffing scheme ,
For such defies dream’s renown contrary ,
When day to day nurture’s comfort trim -
Have had yours sincerely , hurries longer an ordinary ,
Among men , a neat , and frugal vital hymn .
