Hyme

By Arnav Mall

Why do I say I don't miss you,

I always wonder why I don't search for new,

The Memories I had they never left,

Destiny made us part, now I wish we never met.

Why do I say I don't love you,

When I see your face my heart sings unknown,

My eyes they get filled with pearls,

How do I feel I cannot explain,

But all I know is I don't belong in this domain.

I search for you, but you are not there,

But the shadows tell me once you were here,

I ask them why did you leave,

And they tell me though you loved her,

You weren't the one who she believed.

They tell me to leave,

That she left a long-long time,

But I stand there in disbelief,

Hoping one day she and I will dwell in the cabin we always dreamt,

Reality will be the dream of mine,

That she will be back and the forest, the birds and the stars will sing that hyme....
