Home
By Nurjahan P. Nizar
She had a roof over her head,
But always wished for a home,
Lays on a couch all dread,
Spits out what she loathes.
Sulking in the corner,
Wrists covered to be warmer,
Shedding tears quietly,
Picking skin unknowingly,
And falls asleep,
Yet once again.
She just asked for comfort,
She just asked for a family,
An arm to cry on,
A friend to laugh with,
A memory that lasts.
Nowhere else to go,
Nowhere else to be,
Why would she runaway,
When she just wants to be found.
