Evil

I sometimes wish evil would die,

Life has not been fair, I wouldn't lie.

But when brought down,

I have learnt how to fly.

And when overwhelmed,

I have learnt how to cry.

There has been no victory

without a try,

So whenever I have been challenged,

I have learnt how to defy.

Everytime the sun shone too bright,

I have learnt how to find shade.

Memories, the painful ones,

I have learnt that they always fade.

And everytime I was heartbroken,

I have learnt to let go,

Time is a powerful healer

These bad days, they come, and then

they just go.

Without a rainy day,

There is no rainbow.

And if it were not for the cold,

We would never see the snow
