Dust

By Prapti Walia

Dust. It's funny if you think about it. Foreign particles that come from nowhere and settle on all your stuff. That forgotten magazine from the 90s, a t-shirt you bought but never wore, photographs in boxes. Eventually this dust becomes as old as some of these forsaken items. Sometimes it forms a layer that's too thick to brush off. After all, it's easy to let the layer thicken. It's easy to let the dust settle. It's easy to overlook that which is right in front of your eyes. It's easy to say maybe tomorrow, when in fact it's not that hard to get up, pull aside the curtains, let the sunlight in and get cleaning before the dust takes over. Dust. Funny! Isn't it?
