Done.

Dusk it was and very damp

On that day I remember still

Nostalgic now, gone that day

Embraced by the orange sky

Blessed by its dusky rays

Egrets racing far above

Grape vines hanging from the trees

Gushing there we sat for long

In the woods known to none

Nocturnals ceasing their rest

Getting ready for wild venture.

Foreboding of much despondence

Overcast by bounty of nature’s glamour

River moving casting same elegance.

Alvida you muttered. Alvida. Alvida.

Thinking gulping and then smiling

The smile that still is a paining

Engraved in mine dependant heart

Not to turn back and hope again.

That day with its melancholy charm

In my memories is blissfully painful

Or maybe painfully blissful; for to return

Never was the mumbled Alvida_
