Dirt

in the quiet of the night

i hear my heart race

thoughts like shadows creeping

can’t find a safe space

ur the spark in my mind but it’s burning me down

mixed signals and silence

i’m lost in this town

every glance feels like a storm

every word cuts deep

haunted by our history

it’s too much to keep

trying to study but the pages blur away

anxiety’s a thief that steals my light of day

i’m tangled in ur love

but it’s breaking me apart

caught in this whirlwind of a heavy heart

wishing for an ans that i can’t seem to find

js want the noise to fade and piece to unwind

u smile like sunshine

but it feels like rain

every laugh we shared brings back the pain

i’m drowning in memories that won’t let me breathe

these sleepless nights are chains that won’t leave

thoughts spiral like a storm cloud overhead

fighting with my demons while i lie in bed

ur whispers echo loudly

they drown out my dreams

and every little promise is tearing at the seams

i’m screaming for relief but my voice is a whisper

searching for a way out bt the walls js get crisper

if love is supposed to heal then why does it hurt?

i’m losing all my energy buried under this dirt
