You

By Sri Harshini

Far away,

It seems like both the ocean and sky are blended,

But,

 The nearer you go,

The clearer the boundaries are to be appeared,

With lots of similarities,

The differences are camouflaged,

Every once is cryptically coloured,

Hiding behind their masks,

Giving the world their fake smiles,

Trusting the wrong ones,

Leaving behind the ones worth it,

Far away,

It seems like the Eiffel tower has reached the sky,

Just like our happiness does,

But,

More the time passes,

Faster the moment fades,

And then,

Kicks in the drug of sorrow,

Realisation comes in,

The thing you think is permanent,

Is mere that,

And dear,

It’s not about the person beside,

Who you are with,

Or who you are without,

It’s about you and you only!!
