Why?

Why did you come in my life?

Even I didn't want it this way.

Why did you not say what you wanted?

That too after I gave you the chance to say.

Why did you make me love you?

You knew I'd fallen for you.

Why did you frown at my confession?

After you knew what I'd been through.

Why did you not believe me when I said it?

And kept doing as your will.

Why did you turn away from me?

I know I'm not that good, but still.

Why did you make me smile all day long?

I know you'll just deny your love for me.

Why did you smile then that evening?

And left that memory just there for me to see.

Why did you not accept my love?

I know it's hard but not that much.

Why did you leave me to rot alone?

Forgetting the promises we made as such.

Why did you keep me awake at night?

I know you too didn't sleep.

Why do you still run away from me?

Even when you know that I'm yours to keep.
