Tim
By Johnny Walker
Years ago, I held your hand—
and gave you all the breath I had left to give.
I tried to summon life back into your body,
but heaven had already called your name.
For a time, I carried the unbearable—
the guilt, the questions, the hollow ache.
As one trained to save,
I believed I had failed you.
But in truth...
you didn’t need saving.
You needed peace.
And I was there—
so you wouldn’t have to walk alone.
The moment broke me in ways I never knew I
could break.
Yet somehow, from the rubble, I kept moving.
Something unseen—maybe you—
kept whispering: not yet... don’t give up.
And I didn’t.
Life goes on, but your presence lingers.
Your laughter echoes in places only I can hear.
Wherever your spirit now walks in light—
know that I remember you,
I carry you,
and I will never forget
the way you left...
with my heart wrapped around yours.

Tim was a wonderful man and you two are Johnny a wonderful man a great father and a fantastic artist !
Sandy- I remember when he passed, and how much it hurt both of us! You held his hand as God took him home. Thank you for trying to save my brother's life. I'll never forget that!
