So, it's already May

And I'd like to seek your permission

To admire and encourage

The beauty imbibing in this creation

It's been just a short span of time

Since we met and fell for each other

And maybe it was not just a coincidence

That we sat on that day together

Maybe on the first day

I thought I'll be friends with you

But your vibes caught me

And so was the love that brought my heart closer and closer to you

Before we ever met

Actually, before meeting each other

I was just like a rock

A stone, a pebble, or more like a boulder

With my soul almost numb

And my heart cold as ice

Loving you got a crack in my heart

Which I already did, looking into those beautiful eyes

Your love melted my heart

Bringing in life more and more

And in the meanwhile, I started to think

That you are the only one I ever wanted to adore

At times we do fight with each other

And don't talk at all

But still, we come together

Through a little voice call

Talking of voices, I remember

Your voice is like the honey glaze to a doughnut

And I crave for it

Like a squirrel for a chestnut

Late night talks

To good mornings texts

Having you on both sides

Is a really cool thing to flex

So, by this I'd conclude

As I'm left with no more to say

And I just have a small wish of mine

That through thick and thin, you stay
