Fog

By Bhavya Barai

I keep walking through people

like they’re seasons I can’t name.

Everyone feels like spring

until they leave.

I try to remember

where warmth ends and illusion starts,

but the fog between heart and mind

is thicker than before.

And sometimes,

when I almost forget you

I meet another almost,

and start remembering again.
