Dot
By Soumya Bhardwaj
Sometimes you are alone in the crowd,
Baffling with the thoughts
That you can't say out loud
Waiting for the time until,
You'll be covered in the shroud
Will these rosy outlooks make you proud.
These great expectation of the masses,
Those silver linings of the broken glasses,
Either it's an aftermath, or you are a proven sociopath.
Those tickling sound of the watches ,
The sand running down the hourglasses,
People standing there to laugh at your loss
Beholding you as if you are in cross.
Every individual,
Espionage for their own material gain
Harass you until you scream in pain
Harassment is not just physical but mental too
They wanted to make you an angel
But it turned into a devil so soon.
Its either fight or flight, brave or coward
Strong or weak,
But nobody sees the continuum in the streak
So, every time the nature has to force a disaster
To make you realize that there is no after.
Those innocent minds
Those embodiments so kind
Don't break it
Or leave it to die,
For we are all a creation of God
Waiting to shrink down to a dot
So, find a way
To live each day
But don't forget,
We are all made of
Same clay.
