Us.

By Sri Harshini

If you were to think of an oasis,

 Think of me,

 The further you go,

 The farther I appear.

If you were to think of a swampy area,

 Think of me,

 The harder you try,

 The deeper I sink in.

If you were to think of a mirage,

 Think of me,

 The clearer I appear,

 The fader I become,

 The nearer you go.

If you were to think of a glass,

 Think of me,

 The harder you hold,

 The easier I break.

If you were to think of the sun and moon,

 Then think of us,

 The closer I get,

 The farther you go.
