60 Seconds

I’ve just got 60 seconds to confess my love,

our generation grants me that much

and I shall make the most of it,

in the first 20 seconds I’ll add a poem on how vintage our love is,

it was built 3 glasses, 2 mobile phones and a house ago.

Our first conversation didn’t understand the concept of time

but the clock did tell,

it told us the time and a little secret-

I’ll share the secret in the next 10 seconds

through a melody that transcends you and I

to the world where the time stops

if we look up to the sky together

in an attempt to contain the infinite.

In the next 20 seconds that I’ll have after that,

I’ll play out my favorite conversations with you.

the ones that were incoherent and

the one where you understand the coherency,

the one where we share art and

the one where we created it.

In the last 10 seconds I’ll prove it to my reader

of how magnificent our love is

a picture of you would do that

or the sound of my laughter when I am around you,

I’ll tell them about the faith we wear and the distance we share

there is so much that I’ll have to declare but how will I do it..

I’ve just got 60 seconds to confess my love.
