10th-A Core Memory

By Mahek Gandhi

10th class,a special class, as truly said,

New friends and memories we made.

From Navaratri’s colourful nights,

To Kumbhalgarh’s beautiful sights.

The extra classes we couldn't resist,

And the PE periods we would never want to miss.

From Maths sums on Alpha and Beta,

To circle's sums on Theta.

Numericals on mirrors and lens,

We would surely create a mess.

Biology class freshened us up ,

And Gujarati class was definitely a thumbs up.

Playing games like Antakshari and Bollywood,

Talking about the memories of our childhood.

Celebrations like teacher's day and boring chemistry classes we would attend ,

But now all these is coming to an end.

As now we will be divided into streams,

And the teachers would no longer hear us scream.

All our hearts are filled with tears,

The only thing we fear about is going apart from those we've been with these long years.

The memories will be cherished in our hearts forever,

Days like these will not come back, ever.
