This painting symbolizes the four seasons of life—spring, summer, autumn, and winter—layered one upon another. Just as stacked stones remain standing only through balance, so too must we seek balance in our own lives.

In the form of a stone smoothed by time‘s river, we see the curves of our own lives. Like specks of gold that gleam within the rough current, we discover our most brilliant worth through hardship. The three horses journeying through this time symbolize the past, present, and future, conveying the beauty of a life being shaped and perfected.
