两界之间的制图者

在海峡还记得自己名字的年代，有一位罗氏族的女子，每天黎明都带着三样东西走过那座桥：

还有一枚来自遥远北方朝廷的印章--那里的冬天，连语言都会下雪。

南方王国精确而严苛。它丈量一切--你的文书、你的贡献、你愿意被定义为”足够”的程度。它只奖励那些抵达时已然完整的人。

北方王国更古老，更喧嚣，对矛盾更为宽容。它记得你祖母的名字。它守护着土地。它用南方王国没有词语描述的东西喂养你。

她不属于任何一方。

她精通两种语言。

她曾经不知道，这是一种力量。

二十几岁时，她坐在玻璃塔楼里，管理着横跨军队与政府的账目，赢得的奖项在她从未踏足的城市里被宣布。她以为，权力意味着高度--楼层越高，视野越清晰。

但那些塔楼教会了她另一件事：

最危险的智识，是那种只会读一张地图的智识。

她离开了塔楼。不是败退--而是转译。她带走了她所学到的一切，就像制图者携带测量工具：不是为了征服下一片领土，而是为了比房间里任何人都更诚实地理解它。

她曾经历过一次壮阔的失败，在那栋公寓的年份。

那笔投资崩塌的方式，和所有确定性崩塌的方式一样--先是猝然，然后彻底。她的家人站在一个当时看来无比合理的计算的废墟之中。

她那时还年轻，年轻到足以让这件事摧毁她的自信。

但她是罗氏的后人，这让她没有被彻底摧毁。

那是只有你才能绘制的领土。

无论如何，穿越它。

如有必要，每天清晨都穿越它。

带着你祖母的名字，带着你自己尚未完成的书稿，穿越它。

你绘制的那张地图，将会是另一个人找到出路所需要的地图。
