රණහංසලා

ජාතකේ පන්සිය පනස් පිටු තිසර තටු ඇත සැඟවිලා

රනින් බිජුවක් දිදී නිරතුරු පුහුදුනන් ඉසුරින් වඩා

රුදුරු දුහුනන් අතින් ගැලවුණු ලේ වැකුණු තටු අහුලලා

හිත මිතුරු ගල් වඩුව ඇවිදින් එකින් එක ගත සවිකළා

දියෙන් ගත් පෙරපෙරා සුදු කිර හංස තටුවල තවරලා

රිදුම් පිරි රතු පාට පැල්ලම් හෙමින් හෙමින් මැකිලා ගියා

පින්වතුන් පය දූලි පිසලා උන් නිවන් යන හැටි බලා

පහණ සඳකඩ මතින් නෙළුමක් උසුලාවි රණහංසලා
