උදා තරුව

පුස් බැඳුණු ඇතිරිල්ල

සුවඳ කලසින් තෙමමි

නිදිමතම තොග ලෙසින්

සයනයට පටවමි

කාලයේ බඳ පටි

ලහිලහියෙ ලිහමි

දුරබණුවෙ සැවුලාට

හිමිදිරියෙ බැණවදිමි

උළුවහුවෙ මකුළු දැලෙ

නවාතැන් දිනාගත්

කුරුමිණී තරු මඬලෙ

රෑ පැසුළුයම හොවමි

කොට්ට උර තෙමාගෙන

ගලා යන සසර මිස

සිසිල දෙන හිම කුසුම්

පිනි පොකුරු නොම පිපේ

සොඳුර නුඹ ලබා දෙන

සිහින මා වැළඳ ගෙන

මා අවදි වන තුරුම

සිහිනයක්වම හිඳියි

අඳුර නෙතු දල්වාන

මේ උතුම් රැය ගෙවෙන

උදාතරුවක් සේම මට පෙනෙයි
