ඇස්

නීල භරණය සහස් අතකට අනඟ කැටයම් භාව මවනා

ධීර පියුමාකරය එව් ආමෝදයක් නැති වුණත් දැනුණා

කාල කුහරය භුවන මැද ඒ යනෙන අතකට ඔහේ ඇඳුණා

පාර දැන යන බඹරු මඟ පැටලිලා ඔය රහමෙරේ ගිලුණා

තැනින් තැන ඇත පිපුණු පොද පොද කසුන් තරු ඉති අඳුරු ගඟනේ

හිතින් අතහැර ගන්න බැරි වුණු හීනයකි සුව අඳුන් සයනේ

හමන සුශිරය පවා නවතන පිහාටුව සුසිනිඳුද ලදුනේ

ඉතින් ආයෙත් ඉඳුනිලට හිනහෙන්න දෙනවද ඇගේ භවනේ

වැහෙන සඳ දොර පියන් පත් රජ පුරේ රන්වන් සේල ගැලිය

හමන හිරිකඩ සුළඟ ළඟ දෙව්දුවෝ භාවය රැඟුම් සැලිය

පෙනෙන නොපෙනෙන ඈත කෙළවර ලස්සනම නිල් දදක් දිලිය

දකින වුන් නොදැනීම සියොළඟ සිරස හිඳ දිය ඇලිය ගැලිය

ගිලි ගිලී මියැදෙන්න ඉඩ නැති ශ්වේත හස රදදහන මැද්දෙන්

දිලි දිලී රන් සඳක් මහ රෑ ඉනාවක් දස අතට විද්දෙන්

අහක බල බල නිවා ගන්නට බැරිම මොහොතක් පපුව ලද්දෙන්

නුඹේ ඔය මිණි දෙවොල ගැන ඇහෙනවද ඇස් කිව් සදැස් සද්දෙන්
