අනේ සිංහබා මා යළි මරපන්

බිඳිව් ඇහැකි නම් මා පෙරලාගෙන ඉර බැහැ ගන්නට කල්ප ගණන් ඇත

සිඳිව් අවැසි විට ඒ දුන් සෙනෙහස නුඹට තවත් කරදර කළුවර නැත

යමව් එකළු කර මහ ඝන වීරිය යන්න කලින් අරගෙන ඔද සිහ හිත

මරව් උහුලගෙන මැරෙන්න බෑ මට නැති බව දැන දැන දියණිය උර මත

සියුමැලි වැලි ඉවුරක් ළඟ හවහට ඉර බැහැගෙන යන ලස්සන දවසක

හිතා වුන්නෙ මම හොරෙහින් යන්නට චූටි දෝණි විතරක් ගෙන හවසක

පල නෙලනා සඳ සුපිපුණු ඉත්තක පිපුණු සුවඳ වන කුසුමන් දෝතක

තවම තියෙනවා මගෙ කඳුළක් මැද මිය ඇඳිලා නැති සුවඳ එ අත්තක

රෑ කළුවර ලෙන් දොර ඇර එනකොට තුරුලක එළියක් මදි වෙයි හිතලා

අරන් ආවෙ මම තරු කැට ඉති ඉති තැනින් තැනට පුරවන්නට තියලා

සඳ නැති ලෙනකට මල් සුවඳක් නැත කළුවර ආදෙන් මා යට කරලා

අනේ සිංහබා මා යළි මරපන් මැරුණා ඊයෙත් දෝණිව හොයලා

සිදාදියට රෑ හීතල එනවලු මුහුදුකරේ තද හුළං නිදැල්ලේ

තුරුලට අරගෙන ටිකක් සනසපන් ඈ නිදි යන සිරි යහන් සඳැල්ලේ

දවසක ලෙන් කළු ශිඛර සිහි වුණොත් සිහ රජු නිදියන පොළෝ විදල්ලේ

පියඹා එන්නට ඈට ඉඩ දියන් මම ඇගෙ පළවෙනි පෙමයි කැදැල්ලේ
