ಶೀರ್ಷಿಕೆ : ಪಾಂಚಾಲಿ

ಮೋಸದಾಟದ ಬಲೆಯ ಹೆಣೆದರು ಬೀಸಿ ಕಪಟದ ಪಗಡೆಯ

ಎಲ್ಲ ಸೋತ ಧರ್ಮರಾಯನು ಇಟ್ಟ ಪಣಕೆ ಮಡದಿಯ

ತಲೆಯ ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿ ಕೂತರಲ್ಲ ಪಾಂಡು ರಾಜನ ಪುತ್ರರು

ಸತಿಯ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಪತಿಯ ಹೊಣೆಯು ಎಂಬ ಮಾತನೆ ಮರೆತರು !

ಸಭೆಯ ತುಂಬ ಇರುವರೆಲ್ಲ ಧರ್ಮ ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮವ ಬಲ್ಲರು

ದ್ರೌಪದಿಯ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗೆ ತುಟಿಯ ತೆರೆಯದೆ ಮೌನದ ಮೊರೆ ಹೋದರು

ಕಪಟಿ ದುರ್ಯೋಧನನು ಹೂಡಿದ ವಸ್ತ್ರ ಹರಣದ ಸಂಚನು

ಮದದಿ ಮೆರೆದ ಅವನ ಸೋದರ ಎಳೆದ ಅವಳ ಮುಡಿಯನು !

ಕೈಯ ಮುಗಿದು ಮೊರೆಯನಿಟ್ಟಳು ವಾಸುದೇವ ಕೃಷ್ಣನ

ಮಾನ ಉಳಿಸಿ ಕಾಯೋ ಎಂದು ಬಾಗಿ ಬೇಡಿತು ಅವಳ ಮನ

ಪವಾಡವೇನೋ ಎನ್ನುವಂತೆ ನಡೆಯಿತಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಜಿಗ

ಮುರಳಿಲೋಲನ ಲೀಲಜಾಲಕೆ ಮೂಕ ವಿಸ್ಮಿತವೀ ಜಗ !

ಅಳಿದು ಉಳಿದಳು ಯಜ್ಞಸೇನಿ ಸಹಿಸಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ನಿಂದನೆ

ಇವರ ಕಾಡದೆ ಬಿಡುವುದೇನು ಅವಳ ಮನದ ವೇದನೆ

ಮುಗಿಲ ಮುಟ್ಟಿದ ಹೆಣ್ಣ ರೋಧನೆ ಕದಡಿತಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಂತಿಯ

ಅಧರ್ಮದ ಸಭೆ ಹಾಡಿತಂದೇ ಕುರುಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕೆ ನಾಂದಿಯ !
