In Loving Memory of Puneeth

Rajkumar

You sojourned to the far abode, how did you make up your mind?

The people you have left behind are in despair and in a hopeless state.

Your death, a fact indigestible, make us feel like one in the family has passed away,

No one must suffer this grief filled agony,

Like the sun that slipped away from the blue sky, is how you left us dear prince.

The sorrow surrounding your death is felt like the death of a dear departed,

Our dearest Appu (Puneeth Rajkumar’s nick name) has gone away far far away from our embrace.

You entertained us from your childhood, now you have disappeared from our sight

Like the way you sang, about the disappearing act, you indeed disappeared from us for ever.

Tears roll knowingly well for those we know are counting their last days,

But for those who die, who were here yesterday and gone today, tears do not stop rolling away.

Like, the doll that was playing on the table swayed and swayed,

Unknowingly, the doll fell down and broke in front of our eyes,

The pain of parting will remain forever long, Dearest Appu (Puneeth’s nickname)

Come again, Be Born again, Be Born again
