పడవెల్లిపోతోందిరా ఓరయ్య,

పడిలేచే కెరటాల ఊసేమీ పట్టనట్టు,

పడవలో ఉన్నోళ్ళ‌ పైన ప్రేమేమీ లేకుండా,

పడవకు రానోళ్ళను అసలు లెక్క చేయకుండా,

తోవల్ని చేధిస్తూ,తీరాలను దాటేస్తూ,

వెనుదిరిగే మాటే మరచి,

వేచి చూసే అలవాటు విడచి,

నింపాదిగా ఉంటే నిందేమి పడదు,

నిందించినా తను నింపాదిగ నడవదు,

కాలం అనే పడవెల్లిపోతోందిరా ఓరయ్య,

పడిలేచే కెరటాల ఊసేమీ పట్టనట్టు..!
